Where are you located?

We are currently an online bakery located in Clarendon, within the vicinity of May Pen.

What are your business hours?

We are open between the hours of 9:00am - 7:00pm on Monday - Saturday. We are closed on Sunday and public holidays.

Do you deliver?

Yes! We deliver within sections of Clarendon, Mandeville, Kingston, St. Andrew and St. Catherine. We also deliver wedding orders as far as Ocho Rios.

What else do you offer?

At the moment, we offer cakes, cupcakes, cakesicles, cake jars and chocolate covered strawberries.

What’s the cost of your cupcakes?

Our cupcakes are sold by the dozen with the minimum quantity being half dozen (6). Each cupcake is priced based on its flavour and quantity so they all have different prices. You can view all our cupcake prices https://mumzelspastries.beanrhoprojects.com/shop/

What is the size of your cupcakes?

Our standard cupcakes are approximately 2.5 inches in diameter (about 3-4 bites) and our mini cupcakes are approximately 1.5 inches in diameter (bite-sized).

How do I place an order?
  • If you’re interested in our standard cakes, cupcakes, cake jars and strawberries displayed on our website, you place and secure your order by selecting and paying for what you’re interested in using your Visa debit/credit card or Scotiabank online transfer.
  • If you’re interested in a custom order, you’re required to fill out and submit the respective custom inquiry form in order to receive a quote. Once you’ve accepted the quote, you’ll be sent an invoice and you’ll be required to secure your spot on our calendar with payment.

How do I pay for my order?
  • Our standard cakes, cupcakes, cake jars and strawberries displayed on our website can be paid for instantly by using your Visa debit/credit card or Scotiabank online transfer. We still require two week’s (14 days) notice.  
  • Once you’ve accepted the quote for your custom order, a 75% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your spot on our calendar. The balance for your custom order is due a week (7days) before your delivery date.

How can I order a cake with a custom design?

The price of our custom cakes is dependent on the flavour, size and design you’re interested in. Fill out and submit our custom cake inquiry form for a quote to be emailed to you. All custom quotes are not automatic bookings and are subject to our availablitiy

What size are your cakes?
  • Our cakes are available in 6 inches, 8 inches and 10 inches in diameter and are approximately 5-6 inches high depending on the flavour and decorations.
  • Our 6 inch cake provides 12-14 servings. Our 8 inch cake provides 18-25 servings. Our 10 inch cake provides 30-36 servings.
Can I request a custom cake flavour?

The flavours that are offered on our website are the flavours that are available for you to choose from. More gourmet flavours will be eventually added to our menu for an even wider range. 

Should I refrigerate the my pastries?
  • Yes! All buttercream cakes, cupcakes, cakesicles, cake jars and chocolate covered strawberries should be refrigerated as soon as possible after delivery. 
  • All cakes should be refrigerated until an hour before it is needed so it can come to room temperature which makes it easier to cut and better to eat. The bigger the cake, the longer it may need to come back to room temperature. 
  • Cupcakes, cake jars, chocolate covered strawberries and cakesicles can be removed from refrigerator about 15-20 minutes before enjoying! N.B: FONDANT TOPPERS SHOULD NOT BE REFRIGERATED.
How long will my products stay fresh?
  • Our products are made without artificial preservatives so we recommend eating them on the day to enjoy them at their best, especially our cake jars and chocolate covered strawberries. 
  • For cakes, cupcakes and cakesicles, we can guarantee their freshness for 1-3 days while stored in the refrigerator. They can be stored in the freezer in an air-tight container for a longer period.
Do you decorate cakes that are baked by someone else? Do you sell cakes that I can decorate myself?

Unfortunately, we do not offer that service. We also do not sell cake layers that would be decorated by someone else. All our cakes are sold fully decorated.

Do you offer vegan / gluten-free / eggless /dairy-free / sugarless products?

No. All our baked products contain eggs, dairy, sugar and gluten.

How soon should l order?
  • Usually, we require at least 3 weeks’ notice for all orders as your spot needs to be secured with payment 2 weeks before your delivery date.
  • We recommend you inquire about and/or pay for your order as early as you possibly can as dates on our calendar fill up fast and are ONLY secured with payment
Do you offer wedding cakes and cake tastings ?
  • Yes! We do offer wedding cakes. You’re required to fill out and submit our [wedding cake inquiry form] for your custom quote.
  • Yes! We do offer a wedding cake tasting box that includes 16 small samples of all our wedding cake flavours accompanied by all our fillings and buttercream for you to taste and create the perfect wedding flavours for your special day. The box can be customized to the flavours and fillings you’ve already decided on. 
Do you offer samples?

No. We do not offer samples of our cakes and cupcakes outside of our wedding cake tasting box.

Can you replicate a design I found?

We do our very best to not replicate the exact design of another baker’s work via the photo reference you submit but we will try to design something similar while still allowing the order be unique to you.
